In today’s newsletter, Energy & Infrastructure Moves can reveal that UK law firm TLT has expanded its future energy and infrastructure planning capabilities with the appointment of a new team of lawyers, the award-winning national law firm announced on Tuesday. The new joiners will be based in the firm’s London office, with the first arrivals starting in February and March.

This comes against the backdrop of the UK Government investing in infrastructure and clean energy to deliver growth, cementing the firm’s position as a leading adviser in these areas.

In other news, Energy & Infrastructure Moves understands that WINT Water Intelligence, a leader in cutting-edge water management and leak mitigation solutions for construction, commercial, residential, and industrial applications, announced on Tuesday, the strategic expansion of its board of directors with the appointment of Michael Colacino as Chairman.

Currently serving as President of JLL's Tri-State Brokerage, Mr. Colacino was previously president at Savills Studley, where he managed one of the largest tenant representation practices in the U.S. Colacino brings over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry to the board.

Lastly, Energy & Infrastructure Moves has learned, according to sources familiar with the move, that Chris Daly has been internally appointed by UK property finance business Glenhawk to take up the role overseeing the launch of the firm’s Structured Real Estate division. The newly launched division, led by Daly, will provide bespoke loans ranging from £5m to £50m through a relationship management model. Daly (pictured below), who previously led on the launch of Glenhawk’s BTL division, will continue to report to Chief Executive Officer Guy Harrington.
