ICYMI - JLL announces new additions to Data Centre leadership team with EMEA appointments, and KPMG appoints Andy Pyle as Global Head of Real Estate

In today’s newsletter, Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL), a leading global commercial real estate and investment management company, announces three key hires to reinforce the existing leadership team as the firm identifies a 742MW hyperscale construction boom in the EMEA region, underpinning the data centre sector’s expansion potential.

• Steve Ross has been appointed as UK & Ireland Data Centre Operations lead, having worked in critical environments for the past two decades, with over 12 years in the data centre industry.

• Godfrey Anderson joins as Director, Critical Environment Centre of Excellence Programme lead – EMEA Region, having previously served as EMEA Head of Engineering Design for Morgan Stanley.

• Ross Smyth joins as Senior Consultant - EMEA Data Centre Consulting, bringing with him a specialism in integrated chip programming and a background in electrical engineering.

Also, Energy & Infrastructure Moves understands that KPMG, one of the four biggest audit firms in the UK, has appointed Andy Pyle to the role of Global Head of Real Estate. The firm was unavailable to comment further on the appointment. According to sources familiar with the move, Pyle succeeds Andrew Weir, who has reportedly vacated the role.
